Mr. Deremo joined Stevenson & Company after twenty years
of senior management experience at several Fortune 200 manufacturing
companies. He advises business owners and corporations on the sale and acquisition of businesses. Cliff has experience in a wide variety of industries including Metals, Plastics, Engineered Products, Consumer Products, Capital Equipment, Packaging, Marketing and Industrial Services and Logistics.
Prior to joining Stevenson, Cliff was with Avery Dennison as Vice President
and General Manager of one of their operating divisions. This
division manufactured highway safety products and was created
as a result of Avery’s acquisition of Stimsonite Corporation
in 1999.
Previously Cliff was with FMC Corporation
for fifteen years where he held finance, sales, and general management
positions in a variety of industries. He also gained extensive international
experience, overseeing operations in Europe, Latin America and
Asia. As an operating manager, he was involved in a number of
acquisitions and divestitures ranging in size from $5-$150 million.
Cliff has an MBA from the University of Michigan and a
B.A. with High Honors from Michigan State University. He is currently
on the Board of Directors of The Alliance for Illinois Manufacturing,
a member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), Midwest
Business Brokers & Intermediaries (MBBI) and Vistage International
(formerly known as TEC).
