Stevenson & Company completed the acquisition of a Chicago-area restaurant chain for Hanon Management Group and Kronos Foods, Inc. Our client engaged Stevenson to conduct an acquisition search to identify branded restaurant chains that fit their acquisition criteria.

Stevenson identified Stonebridge Gyros and Café as an attractive candidate. Stonebridge has four locations in the heavily trafficked toll plazas on the Illinois Tollway. Stevenson initiated a dialog with the restaurant owner, gathered financial information, presented preliminary offers and with the help of other professional advisors negotiated the purchase agreement, completed due diligence and closed the transaction.

This transaction has accomplished the objectives of both parties. It helped the owners of the restaurant chain to sell at a fair price and it expanded our client’s presence into a new market segment. The restaurants will operate
